Are you looking for MS flight simulator 2011 or do you just want a new flight sim? Well, you better hold off on Microsoft, it seems there is a new player in town called flight sim pro. Microsoft has always been my number one pick in flight sims, but Microsoft's flight simulator 2011 is still not released. I have also heard they are going to be basing it off of there same old game structure.
I made a new years resolution to find a new flight sim for 2011 that is better than Microsoft. I looked around and found a few free simulators that were pretty good for being free, but then I came across flight sim pro. This was just released some months ago, and is my top pick for a flight simulator for 2011. This sim has over 120 planes plus a helicopter or two, 20,000 airports, and some of the best scenery I have ever seen.
I will still be waiting on Microsoft flight simulator 2011, but I just don't think it is going to compare to this new flight simulator. MS has always been the in the cutting edge of flight sims, but I think after the company downsized they but this on there back burner. For now though, I will be going with my new simulator for 2011.
This sim is so realistic it has me on the edge of my seat, and even jumping out of my seat at moments. My wife thought I was crazy, and I tried to explain to her just how real a flight sim feels. She's not a gamer, and just couldn't quite understand.
This new simulator for 2011 has inclement weather and all kinds of other features. It can be raining one second and then snowing the next. Try landing a 747 on an icy runway. If that doesn't make you get on the edge of your seat, then nothing will. One other thing that is so great about this sim, is the support. I don't know if you have ever contacted Microsoft for any kind of support, but it has always been a nightmare for me. This new flight simulator for 2011 responded to my support question within minutes. I couldn't believe it.
If your looking for ms flight simulator 2011, you going to have to wait a bit. If you want to try a new flight sim you will be better off in the long run. There is nothing better than playing a real simulator, and you should definitely try one out. Just make sure you get a real good one that is as realistic as possible. The one I use is flight simulator pro and it has everything you could ever want in a simulator. You will not believe how good this actually is.
